LAHORE: After two-day trials Pakistan women hockey squad has been announced for the Asian Games qualifiers being held in Bangkok from Jan 12 to 20.

Rizwana Yasmin will lead the 18-member squad at the qualifiers.

Six officials will accompany the team to the Thai capital.

Squad:

Goalkeepers: Rizwana Yasmeen (Wapda), Rushna Khan (Punjab).

Full-backs: Ishrat Abbas, Marina Anwar (Wapda); Taskeen Kausar (Army), Nida Asghar (Punjab)

Half-backs: Ibra Sheikh, Nafeesa Anwar, Zakia Nawaz (Wapda); Zaib-un-Nisa, Rimsha Ilyas (Railways)

Forwards: Hina Pervaiz, Mayira Sabir, Ambreen Arshad, Kalsoom Shehzadi (Wapda); Sahrish Waheed, Tehmina, Saira Ashraf (Railways).

Officials:

Saeed Khan (head coach), Gulnar Begum (manager), Shaheen Fatima (assistant manager), Sajida Fajar (physio), Binish Hayat (umpire), Nabila Ayaz (technical official).
