KARACHI: An engrossing battle for supremacy will be witnessed in the fifth edition of Hub Rally which explodes into action at the Max Dirt Arena in Hub on Sunday with Pakistan’s top racing drivers in the fray for their respective titles.

However, prepared Class “A” and “B” crowns will be the main attraction for the motor racing followers and supporters being staged at the Sindh/Balochistan border located 40 kilometres from Karachi.

Races are conducted on an extended 10.8 specially designed track with 13 dangerous twists and turns on a hilly, rocky, dusty and sandy track laid by Toyota Highway Motors (THM).

“Driving on Max Dirt Arena is great test of speed and skill of racing drivers. Whatever power vehicle you got you must have expertise to drive and win,” Sultan told reporters.

Sultan complimented the organiers for preparing a challenging track with extended designing.

He said Magsi, defending champion Khoro, Ronnie and Asif Imam are his main challengers.

“It will be touch and go contest between us,” he added.

“This is the best and rare track close to Karachi for racing drivers and offers big challenge for speed and skill,” former Cholistan and Jhal Magsi champion Ronnie said.

Pakistan’s undisputed ladies’ champion Tushna Patel said she was looking forward to match the standards of her men’s counterparts in the race and also play the role of navigator with husband Ronnie.

She called for more women join racing to increase the ladies racing spectrum which vital for the development of motor racing in Pakistan.

Vehicles of different brands and companies powered from 800 CC up to 4500 CC and like Toyota Vigo, Ford Raptor, Land Cruiser, Fortuner etc. will be seen action at the 11-kilometre track.
