UK envoy in Khairpur

KHAIRPUR, May 10: British Deputy High Commissioner Simon Butt met MPAs, district, taluka and UC nazims, agriculturists, minority leaders and women representatives here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said his visit was to know situation regarding democracy, local bodies’ system and issues and concerns of Sindh.

District Nazim Nafisa Shah told the diplomat that Sindh was like a colony being run under federal directives.—BoC
