TAXILA: Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed on Wednesday said 112 different development schemes would be completed in district with an estimated cost of Rs9,402 million during current fiscal year.

He was addressing the participants of district development board at a meeting held at DCO office Attock on Wednesday.

The Federal Minister said that in Attock a medical college would soon be established for which 1,500 kanal was being procured while establishment of a cancer hospital was also on the cards.

He said in Attock district different schemes of re-carpeting of roads, water supplies, drainage were being completed which would benefit a large population.

He emphasized upon the officers to ensure timely completion of the development schemes without compromising on quality of the work.
