GUJAR KHAN: At least seven people were killed and 30 others injured when a coaster collided with a truck at a bridge on the GT Road on Sunday night.

According to tehsil headquarters hospital sources, the coaster was hired by a family of Narowal and it was returning to Narowal from Islamabad after visiting a shrine there when the accident took place.

As the bus tried to overtake a van on the Bhai Khan bridge, it collided head-on with the truck coming from the opposite direction.

Seven passengers died on the spot while 30 others were injured.
