HYDERABAD, May 15: Noted writers as well as members of the board of governors of the Sindhi Adabi Board have praised the decision of Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim for sanctioning a special grant of Rs20 million for development of Sindhi Adabi Board.

In a joint statement issued here on Sunday, Dr Nabi Bux Baloch, Dr Ghulam Ali Alana, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, Dr Ghafar Soomro and Dr Fehmida Hussain praised Sindh Education Minister Dr Hamida Khuhro and Secretary Hashim Laghari for their efforts in this regard.

They said the special grant of Rs20 million would go a long way not only in improving the financial and administrative matters of the board but also in implementing projects with regards to publication of books on history and literature as well as promotion of Sindhi language.
