Mehran Club in hockey final

TANDO JAM: Mehran Club Hyderabad beat Evergreen Club Kotri 5-2 in the semifinal to qualify for the final of the Quaid-e-Azam Gold Cup Inter-district Hockey here on Friday.

Waqar Khanzada scored two goals for the winners while Rao Amir, Qamar Waheed and Nauman scored one goal each. For Evergreen Club, the goals were scored by Ahmed Sardar and Aslam.

The second semifinal will be played between Rajput Club Tando Jam and DHA Club, Nawabshah.
