Approximately 3,500 unsold tickets for the Pakistan Super League play-offs in Lahore have been returned to the Pakistan Cricket Board, sources with a ticket distributor told DawnNewsTV on Monday.
All tickets worth Rs 1,000 and 2,000 were sold out within the first three days, but despite the passage of 20 days since they first went on sale, match tickets worth Rs4,000 and Rs6,000 remain unsold.
Subsequently, the private courier company responsible for the sale of tickets returned all the remaining tickets to the PCB.
Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium, where the two play-offs will take place on March 20 and 21, can host 27,000 cricket fans.
The final will be held at Karachi's National Stadium on March 25.
Islamabad United has already qualified to play the final in Karachi, whereas the upcoming play-offs will decide the second finalist.
At least three foreign commentators, including Alan Wilkins, Daren Ganga and Michael Slater will come to Pakistan for the play-offs and the final, PCB sources told DawnNewsTV.
Damien Fleming and Danny Morrison, however, will not be commentating during the semi-finals and the final matches due to family commitments.

Prices are too high for general public. They should've lowered the prices to half at the start. If they want to bring PSL back and also the spectators, they shouldn't be greedy. Rs 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 should be the pricing instead of the current ones.

People are dying of hunger, lawlessness, joblessness, shortage of electricity and plenty of things across the country. This problem relates not with common men. Many of Pakistanis get salary below then 6000 Rs.

Is the pricing exorbitant or was there an issue regarding the sale of the tickets.? They may have deliberately not sold them with the intention of scalping the tickets! There were more expensive tickets that were sold! So the issue is probably not of affordability.
Rameez Raja and Bazid Khan are hopefully still local commentators.
The PCB should host more matches locally for PSL 2019. There won’t be surprises about who is traveling to Pakistan . Those who don’t want to come should not be signed up.
The Government of Pakistan must ensure security, stability and safety not only for cricket but for all those who wish to participate in the economic, technological and infrastructure development of the country.

Te real issue is the greed of PCB. Instead of trying to make as much money as possible from the tickets thru high prices, PCB should target filling the stadium, which will bring in more advertisers and thus more money.

I wanted to buy those tickets but too much security is the challenge. I can't take my 11 and 12 year old kids to ground and pass through the rigor of security. I see that the reason why families can't come. As security situation gets better, such tickets will be sold in minutes.
