PEOPLE from all parts of Balochistan have relocated to Quetta to raise their way of life. The city now houses in excess of 4.3 million people. Owing to this, water in the locale is getting progressively scarce . However, the successive governments seem to have ignored this issue of the people.
Appropriate steps are needed to keep the people out of this wretched situation. It has been proposed at various discussions that a dam be built in the city to store water, but policymakers have not given any careful consideration to the problem.
