KARACHI: After successfully staging the high-profile final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Sunday, Karachi’s National Stadium is set to host the West Indies team for a three-match T20 International series.

Like the three-match T20 series against World XI staged in Lahore last September, this Pakistan-West Indies series will also be witnessed by officials of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

According to a well-placed source, ICC match referee and other officials would travel to Karachi for the series.

“The ICC has appointed David Boon as match referee for the three T20 Internationals against the West Indies. ICC general manager cricket, Geoff Allardice, and ICC senior manager umpires and referees, Adrian Griffith, will also be in Karachi for the series, added the source.

The series between Pakistan and the West Indies, the reigning world T20 champions, will commence on April 1 followed by matches on April 2 and 3.
