Brad Pitt turns to furniture design

Brad Pitt seems to be one busy man these days, and has been for the past six months. Apparently, he’s got a new hobby. Pitt has suddenly popped up on the Instagram of Pollaro Inc, which appeared to be a furniture design business. Turns out, he’s flexing his design skills.

In one shot, Brad kneels by a table as he surveys a collaboration between him and the company with post captioned: ‘Brad Pitt visited our shop yesterday to review some of the various pieces of furniture that we are currently working on.

In another shot, Brad is seen ‘sorting through a new parcel of Royal Ebony for the new Pitt-Pollaro desk’.

Pitt is working together with Oxman, an MIT professor on an architectural project he had in the works, as

Brad is somewhat of an architecture and design aficionado. So it is likely that we see a new furniture brand in future!


Lord of the Rings TV series will be ‘most expensive ever’

The big-budget TV adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s masterpiece is expected to become the ‘most expensive TV series ever’.

After reportedly forking out a whopping $250million to secure the rights, Amazon are expected to spend an eye-watering $1billion across five seasons. Production expenses, such as casting, producers and visual effects, will send the budget skyrocketing.

Amazon’s take on J.R.R. Tolkien’s work will be a prequel series set before the events of The Fellowship Of The Ring, the first novel in the trilogy. Director Peter Jackson’s three Lord of the Rings movies earned more than £2billion at the box office, taking 17 Oscars.

The all-star cast included Sir Ian McKellen, Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Viggo Mortensen and Liv Tyler, but it is not yet known if any of them will appear in the TV series.


What you need to know about Frozen 2

Kristen Bell, who will reprise Princess Anna in the upcoming Frozen 2, shared details about the Disney sequel: “I know the songs, I know the story — it’s very good,” she said. “I can’t say much more than that or I’ll get in trouble.”

Bell voiced Anna in the original Frozen, which opened in theatres in 2013. She previously said in an interview that fans will meet new characters in the sequel.

“One thing I will say, there are a couple of new characters that you will fall in love with,” the star shared.

Idina Menzel and Josh Gad will also return to voice Queen Elsa and Olaf, respectively. Frozen 2 will open November 27, 2019.
