Forget Jaws, the Meg is coming!

Forget about Sharknado, and in fact, forget about Jaws, because Jason Statham may be about to bring us the best shark movie of all time. The Meg appears to be part action drama, part comedy and part horror, as it tells the story of a deep-sea submersible which has been attacked by a massive creature — a pre-historic 75-foot-long shark known as the Megalodon — previously thought to be extinct.

The submersible and her crew now lie trapped at the bottom of the Pacific ocean and it’s down to Jason Statham’s deep sea rescue diver to save the crew and the ocean from the monster.

The Meg will be out in the UK cinemas on 10 August 2018.

WWE’s Paige meets ‘The Rock’

Actress Florence Pugh as WWE Superstar Paige meets Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for the first time in the first trailer for upcoming film, Fighting With My Family.

The clip, which premiered over WrestleMania on the WWE Network, features Paige and her brother Zac, portrayed by Jack Lowden, asking Johnson for advice before heading into an audition for WWE.

Johnson launches into one of his signature rants where he berates the siblings for looking like ‘rejects from Harry Potter’. Johnson then explains that his intensity was to show the newcomers how to win over the crowd.

Fighting With My Family is inspired by Paige’s real-life journey to WWE and is based on the documentary The Wrestlers: Fighting With My Family.
