LAHORE: Two more PML-N MPAs who were members of the board of directors (BoD) of the Punjab Saaf Pani Company appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday and recorded their statements.

According to the officials, a combined investigation team of NAB Lahore quizzed MPAs Qamarul Islam and Rana Babar for about two hours. They were members of the BoD of the company when illegalities were allegedly committed.

NAB has summoned PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz also in the Saaf Pani company scam on May 18 and issued a notice to Shahbaz Sharif asking him to appear before a combined investigation team on June 4.
