BAHAWALNAGAR: PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has hoped that Chishtian will excel in ‘campaign for giving respect to vote.’

During an address to a big public gathering at Chishtian on Monday, Nawaz said: “I came straight here after appearance before NAB [court], but I am pleased to see the crowd. Today, I’ve attended 70th hearing of references against me.”

Nawaz claimed that the PML-N government had evolved a comprehensive plan for the provision of jobs to the unemployed youth. He added that electricity would remain suspended for 20 hours during the tenure of previous governments, claiming that the PML-N government had taken effective steps for bringing an end to power crisis.

He said the PML-N government established a network of roads, universities, medical and girls colleges. He hoped that the PML-N, with public assistance, would form the government again and provide all basic facilities of life, especially justice to the masses at their doorstep.

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz addressed the public gathering, claiming that the PML-N government had added 10,000MW electricity to the national gird. She said the PML-N had won all the by-elections, adding that the masses would re-elect the party in the next general election.
