LAHORE: The PPP will begin interviewing hopefuls for the party ticket in central Punjab constituencies from Tuesday (today).

The party has already nominated its parliamentary board a day ago to choose the ticket-holders for the July 25 election.

The board comprises PPP general secretary Nayyer Husain Bukhari, PPP-P general secretary Farhatullah Babar, Punjab president Qamar Zaman Kaira, general secretary Chaudhry Manzoor, Women Wing president Samina Khalid Ghurki, Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan, ex-prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Haji Nawaz Khokhar.
