ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday finalised a list of candidates who will contest the July 25 elections from seven, out of a total of 12, National Assembly constituencies of the tribal districts, formerly Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

According to an official announcement by the party’s central media department, the decision to award tickets to seven candidates was taken at a meeting presided over by PTI chairman Imran Khan.

Those awarded tickets by the PTI include: Gul Daad Khan (NA-40 Bajaur Agency-I), Gul Zafar Khan (NA-41 Bajaur Agency-II), Sajjad Khan (NA-42 Bajaur Agency-III), Noorul Haq Qadri (NA-43 Mohmand Agency), Syed Iqbal Mian (NA-46 Kurram Agency), Aurangzeb Khan (NA-48 North Waziristan Agency) and Qaisar Jamal (NA-51 FR Tribal Area).
