Dr Hasan Askari Rizvi is taking oath as Punjab's caretaker CM. Oath's being administered by Punjab Governor Rafiq Rajwana during a ceremony in the provincial capital Lahore.

Dr Rizvi has pledged that under his watch the election in Punjab will be free and fair and there should be no apprehensions in that regard.

That said, not everyone is happy about this in Punjab. However, the rules are pretty set for caretakers who are duty bound to be impartial and ensure an independent election.
