KARACHI: Karachi Whites and Mirpurkhas won top honours in the juniors and boys categories respectively as the two -day Sindh Ramazan boxing tournament concluded at the Begum Nusrat Bhutto Community Hall, Orangi Town, the other day.

Besides two outfits of the city — Whites and Blues — three outstation team namely Hyderaba Mirpu­rkhas and Shaheed Benazirabad also featured in the contest which was held under the aegis of Sindh Boxing Association (SBA).

The opening day’s competition was held at the Ustad Mohammad Satoo Boxing Stadium, Lyari.

30 kg: Mohammad Umer (Karachi Whites) bt Ali Raza (Karachi Blues) 3-0

32 kg: Sikander (Mirpurkhas) bt Mohammad Ismail (Hyderabad) 2-1

34 kg: Tabarak (Mirpurkhas) bt Mohammad Irfan (Benazirabad) 3-0

36 kg: Sikrnder Ali (Karachi Whites) bt Wali Mohammad (Karachi Blues) 2-1

38 kg: Basit Ali (Mirpurkhas) bt Noor Ahmed (Hyderabad) 2-1

40 kg: Saleh Mohammad (Karachi Blues) bt Kashif (Karachi Whites) 2-1

42 kg: Gulzar (Hyderabad) bt Shahid (Karachi Blues) 2-1

44 kg: Majid Ali (Mirpurkhas) bt Mohammad Sameer (Benazirabad) 3-0
