LAHORE: Parties have submitted the lists of nominees for National Assembly’s reserved seats for minorities.
The PML-N list includes Dr Darshan Lal, minority wing’s Sindh leader. He is on number one priority in the seven-member list submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan on Monday. Others included Kheel Das Kohistani, Isphand Yar Bhindara, Dr Nelson Azeem, Dr Araish Kumar, Dr Sham Sunder and Patrick.
The PTI nominated Lal Chan Malhi, Shenila Ruth, Jamshed Thomas, Hareesh Kumar, Jay Parkash, George Claiment, Eman Ijaz and Baber Shehzad.
Whereas, the PPP list included Ramesh Lal, Naveed Amer Jeeva, Imran Afaq Athwal, Shan Salamat, Behlaj Mal, Hina Gulzar, William Anayat, Sabir Iqbal Masih and Peter John Bheel.
The Muttahida Majlis Amal has nominated James Iqbal, Pervaiz Masih, Aasia Nasir, Shehzad Kundan, Nasir Maseeh and Sunil George; Pak Sarzameen Party’s (PSP’s) list has Mohan Manjani, Rakesh Kumar and Salman.
The MQM has given the names of Sanjay Pervani and Mangla Sharma, while the PML-Q has nominated Aslam Pervaiz Maseeh, Tasleem Gulshan, James Naz, Tariq Maseeh and Albert Patris for the minorities reserved seats.
