SADIO Mane will be the main man for Senegal when they kick off their World Cup campaign against Poland at the Spartak Stadium today.

Mane scored 20 goals last season, including one in the Champions League final against Real Madrid. He boasts 14 goals in 48 games for country. When he moved to Liverpool in 2016, he became the most expensive African player ever at £34 million.

Mané has been the star man for his country for several years and has been compared to El Hadji Diouf, the talisman of the 2002 side. His star status has also earned him the captain’s armband for the West African side.
