DENMARK recorded a 1-0 win in their opening Group ‘C’ game against Peru inspired by a brilliant Christian Eriksen performance as he assisted the only goal of the game.

Today, Denmark face Australia at the Cosmos Arena in Samara and a win would take them through to the next round.
The 26-year-old made his first international appearance in March 2010 against Austria, becoming Denmark’s fourth youngest full international, the youngest debutant since Michael Laudrup.

It was a friendly match against England in 2011 that got Eriksen a lot of attention and big European clubs had their eyes on him. Eriksen scored his first goal for Denmark in the 2012 Euro qualifier and since then has gone to score 22 goals and assisted seven times.

Denmark will be hoping their star midfielder has his shooting boots on today so that he can inspire them to another victory at this World Cup.
