BADIN: Former PPP MNA Kamal Khan Chang said on Thursday that he saw no more chances of getting party ticket given the “unwise” approach of party leaders to handling threat from Mirzas.

Talking to this reporter, Mr Chang said that he was disappointed at the leadership’s response to his request for ticket. No responsible leader gave him a patient hearing during his visit to Karachi over the crisis the PPP was facing in Badin because of Dr Zulfikar Mirza, his family members and allies, he said.

He said that he had clearly told the top brass in advance that he would never withdraw his candidature from any constituency.

Political analysts believe Mr Chang has the ability to spoil PPP votes in NA-229 and provincial seats of Badin, Talhar and Shaheed Fazil Rahu.

Meanwhile, PPP leader Dr Mahesh Kumar Malani said that disgruntled party leader Fakir Sher Mohammad Bilalani had a right to contest election as an independent candidate but his decision had shocked him.
