JI chief Senator Sirajul Haq, while addressing a pre-election political power show organised by the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) in Peshawar on Sunday, vowed that the creation of an "Islami Pakistan" will be a "beacon of hope" for the Muslims of the world.

The 'Islami Pakistan' will be the emancipator of Muslims in Kashmir, Palestine and elsewhere in the world, he claimed boldly.

Dubbing the MMA alliance a "visionary caravan", the Senator professed that it will be for Pakistan what the caliphate was for Turkey, eradicating all manner of indecency.

Turkey has once again seen the victory of the caliphate today and the Jews are weeping, he declared.

He proclaimed that the party's manifesto was the Holy Quran and the city of Madina their model. Siraj promised to implement Sharia law when they come into power, making it a "clean Pakistan".

None of our members are embroiled in the Panama controversy or among the corrupt, he avowed.

He warned there will be a reckoning for all those who had escaped the clutches of accountability, saying "they will be brought to justice".

Not seeming to mind that "the media is not with them", he said he can "understand their [the media's] helplessness". He was happy enough that he has the love of supporters.

Uh..thanks [for understanding] Siraj?
