ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s junior squash players clinched a gold, a silver and three bronze medals following fine performances at the Borneo Junior Squash Open in Malaysia on Sunday.

The promising players participated in the U-15, U-17 and in U-19 competitions.

According to the Pakistan Squash Federation, in the U-15 category, Pakistan’s Noor Zaman won the gold medal after defeating compatriot Mohammad Hamza.

Earlier, Hammad Khan and Khusal Riaz won bronze medals in the U-17 category while Zeeshan, who had to face defeat at the hands of Hong Kong’s Chun Yet Long in the U-19 category also won bronze. The Pakistanis will also compete in the Penang Juniors event from Tuesday.
