MUZAFFARGARH: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf has dashed hopes of former MNA Jamshed Dasti and Awami Raj Party chief for a seat adjustment in NA-182 and NA-183.

Tehmina Dasti, daughter of former MPA Sardar Abdul Hameed Dasti, is the PTI nominee for NA-182. She was elected to NA on reserve seat in 2002. PTI workers protesting against any deal with Dasti reached Tehmina Dasti’s house to congratulate her.

For NA-183, the PTI picked Malik Rafique Khar, a former MPA and ex-tehsil nazim

Reacting, Jamshed Dasti said he had not sought any seat arrangement with the PTI. He said PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi had made an announcement to this effect but Jahangir Tareen camp prevailed in the end.

He said his party had fielded 70 candidates for different seats in south Punjab and he did not need any seat adjustment.

For NA 181, PTI awarded ticket to Malik Ghulam Mustafa Khar, for NA-184 to Syeda Zehra Basit Sultan Bukhari, wife of former MNA Makhdom Basit Sultan Bukhari, for NA-185 to Sardar Moazzam Jatoi and for NA-186 to Malik Talal Gopang,

For the Punjab Assembly, the nominees are PP-279 Ashraf Khan Rind, PP-278 Niaz Gishkori, PP-277 Alamdar Abbas Qureshi, PP-276 Sardar Oun Hameed Dogar, PP- 275 Zaffar Mushtaq Leghari, PP-274 Makhdom Raza Bukhari and for PP 273-Syed Sibtain Raza Bukhari.
