Freakshakes are overloaded, over the top and too good to resist!

Let me give you their proper introduction and then we will move on to the recipe. Freakshakes, an Australian invention, are monstrous mashup of a drink and dessert. They start off as milkshakes to which cake pieces, sauces, ice-cream, cookies, sweets and fruits are added. These come in multiple textures and flavours, with some very complicated topping techniques, and most recipes as simple as the one I am sharing.

And all the ingredients I am using just need to come together and you have a cold, creamy dessert with a donut proudly poised on top. The ingredients I am sharing are for one serving, and a large glass is needed for serving.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup flavoured milk, or milkshake of any flavour

• 1 slice or 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream

• 1 slice or 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream

• 2 Oreo biscuits

• 2 small cupcakes

• 1 donut

• Chocolate syrup

Method

Cut the cupcakes into half and place a piece in the serving glass. Add a little of the flavoured milk till the cupcake is soaked, add one heaped tablespoon of vanilla ice cream.

Repeat, cupcake piece, flavoured milk then ice cream.

Please note that you have to add not more than a couple of tablespoons of each ingredient at a time as you pile up the layers, otherwise the glass will fill up with fewer layers only. Now add a layer of crushed Oreo biscuits, then flavoured milk, a tablespoon of chocolate ice cream, a piece of cupcake, flavoured milk, cupcake, chocolate syrup, and fill till the top with chocolate ice cream and finally place the donut on top and serve or eat immediately. You have to basically alternately layer the glass with all the ingredients you are using until the glass gets filled. So simple!
