LAHORE: In a move that surprised many, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Maneka on Friday managed to persuade the disgruntled women workers of the party to call off their protest over the distribution of party tickets.

In a meeting with the protesting workers, Ms Maneka asked them to end their differences and work for the PTI’s campaign for the upcoming elections.

This talk by Ms Maneka resulted in the protesters ending their protest and they vowed to make all-out efforts for a successful campaign of the party, TV channels reported.
