Nintendo announces Pokemon Let’s Go! for the Switch

Nintendo has announced a new Pokemon game for its Switch console that combines elements of its popular Pokemon Go mobile title and classic Game Boy entry Pokemon Yellow.

Alongside a gameplay trailer during a live press conference in Japan, it was announced that it will be available as Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu Version and Pokemon Let’s Go! Eevee Version. Either Pikachu or Eevee will accompany players throughout their journey and will include all 151 original Pokemon.

The gameplay trailer demonstrates how players will be capturing Pokemon by using the motion-controls present in the Switch’s Joy-Con controller and how the game features a two-player co-op mode.

Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu Version and Pokemon Let’s Go! Eevee Version is set for release on November 16.

Trailer of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

The long-awaited How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World trailer is out. However, sadly, this new instalment marks the conclusion of the Dragon trilogy, and the trailer looks to have lots of drama.

Now chief and ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, Hiccup has created a gloriously chaotic dragon utopia. When the sudden appearance of female Light Fury coincides with the darkest threat their village has ever faced, Hiccup and Toothless must leave the only home they’ve known and journey to a hidden world. As their true destines are revealed, dragon and rider will fight together — to the very ends of the Earth — to protect everything they’ve grown to treasure.

Universal Pictures will release How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World in the US theatres on March 1, 2019.

Justin Bieber in cupid-animated feature

Justin Bieber is developing an animated feature about Cupid and is also lined up to voice the Roman god of desire and love.

The project will be produced by Mythos Studios — a new company founded by Scooter Braun, who is Bieber’s manager and David Maisel, executive producer of The Angry Birds Movie.

“When this project was brought to Justin, he instantly was excited to be a part of it,” Braun said in a statement. “Fortunately for us, like Cupid, he knows a little bit about love and mischief.”

Added Maisel, “Both myself and Scooter have a lifelong love of mythology and we are so excited to partner with Justin to bring the amazing, magical story of Cupid to the world.”
