TIMERGARA: Jamaat-i-Islami chief Sirajul Haq on Friday opened the election office of the party’s candidate in PK-13 in Rani area here.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Haq said the 2018 election was a fight between secular and Islamic forces. He insisted that the MMA was the guardian of ideological boundaries of Pakistan. The function was also addressed by JI nominee for NA-6 Maulana Asadullah, PK-13 candidate Shad Nawaz Khan, former MNA Sahibzada Yaqub Khan and others.

Mr Haq declared that western powers wished to turn Pakistan into a secular state. He asked the voters to come out of their houses on the polling day and defeat the ‘western-backed elements’ through ballot.
