DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 3: Prof Mohammad Ibrahim, Amir Jamaat-i- Islami of NWFP has said Gen Pervez Musharraf was  wrong in extending facilities to the United States.

Speaking at a Press conference here at JI secretariat, he said as President it was much better for him to take into confidence all the figures of the society regarding this decision.

He said today the nation was confronted with the threat of retaliation by Afghans if Pakistan’s air space was allowed to the US.

Secondly, he said if the government did not extend its cooperation towards US, we have to face air attacks by US forces for which we have already received threats.

He claimed that the US had double standards specially towards the Muslims. The JI leader said there were a resolution on UN record in favour of Kashmiris and Palestinians but the US had not acted accordingly.
