PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed his reservations over candidates associated with banned organisations contesting the upcoming general elections.
Bilawal made the statement after visiting Sarawan House to condole the death of Siraj Raisani and others killed in Mastung tragedy.
“Unfortunately, by allowing candidates of banned organisations to take part in the election, extremists have been given space.” — Bilawal
But he also stressed on holding the elections on time despite the current spate of violence, saying that if they can be held in Afghanistan and Iraq, they can be held in Pakistan as well.
