GWADAR: The house of a senior leader of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) was attacked here on Tuesday.

According to sources, Abdul Ghafoor Hoat was inside the house when unidentified gunmen fired shots at his house.

They said Mr Hoat and other people in the house remained unhurt in the attack.

Police said many bullets hit walls of the house.

Mr Hoat condemned the incident and said such attacks could not scare him.

“I will continue my struggle for a developed and prosperous Balochistan and such attempts could not stop me from taking part in the democratic process,” he said.

After receiving information about the attack police and personnel of other law enforcement agencies rushed to the area where Mr Hoat’s house is located.

The launched a search operation in the area to apprehend the attackers.

However, no arrest was reported.
