Seven people have been injured in clashes between two rival political groups at a women polling station in Khipro, NA-216 (Sanghar II).

Following clashes, polling was haulted in the polling station.

The dispute started between voters of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) at polling station Yamin Hingorjo after a woman was stopped from casting her vote on technical reasons.

GDA's Abid Hingorjo is said to be in serious condition. He has been shifted to Hyderabad.

Others, including GDA's Nazar Hingorjo and Anwar Hingorjo and PPP's Anwar Marri, Mir Muhammad Marri, Ali Ahmed and Kando Marri have been shifted to Khipro taluka hospital.
