Summer vacation has almost come to its end and soon our schools will reopen. School is a challenging place that needs an active mind for achieving success in it.

Most of us start our day with breakfast but sometimes being active is more important. Here are some tips which will help you boost your mind and will help tackle challenges in your everyday life.

• Get proper sleep

To be active and attentive in school, we all need a sound sleep of almost eight hours. By getting a proper sleep we will feel energetic.

• Start the day with a glass of water

Starting your day with a glass of water, it will help you become energised and stay focused in your tasks.

• Be prepared for the day

Many children are unable to have a good day at school because they have not prepared well for it. Some forget to pack their bag with all the required books and other things that they need in school, and others forget to do their homework or learn their lessons.

All these things make them ill-prepared for the challenges they face in school and they end up getting worried when there are challenges such as surprise tests, submitting assignments, etc. You should be well-prepared since we all know ‘Prepare and prevent, not repair and repent’.

• Have a healthy breakfast

Your mental energy and activity depend on the kind of breakfast you eat. Eating very little or too much, both aren’t preferable. So make sure that you start the day with a nutritious breakfast that gives your body and brain a lot of energy the rest of the day.

• Stay positive

Mood plays a great role in learning. Being tensed, confused, sad or worried, will make you think negatively and hence you will lose control over your mind. Stay relaxed and positively look forward to each new day.

So buckle up kids because now your school is going to be fun.
