HYDERABAD: Two-day Dawn Sindh Education Fair 2018 which opened at a local hotel here on Saturday attracted a large number of students, their parents, educationists and general public.

Sindh Agriculture University’s Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujeebuddin Sahrai, who was chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the fair, said that he felt proud to see a great many youngsters keenly seeking information about admission to various institutions to pursue higher studies.

He lamented lack of proper forums for student counselling and said that most students of Sindh’s interior were probably unaware of the existence of centre of aviation which was offering aircraft maintenance engineering programme.

Syed Wahhaj Ahmed and Syeda Rameen, who were waiting for results of their matriculation exam, said that they gathered valuable information about criteria for scholarship and admission to national and international, public and private universities, institutes and centres under one roof.

Most students showed interest in obtaining admission to bio-medical engineering of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Centre of Excellence in Arts and Design and Sindh Agriculture University.
