SWABI: The body of an unidentified man was found in Manki area of Chota Lahor tehsil here on Saturday.

The police were informed by the locals about the presence of the body, whose throat was slit.

Officials said that the victim was probably lured to the spot where he was slaughtered.

After the autopsy in a local hospital, the body was buried in the nearby graveyard, but pictures were taken for showing them to the family of the deceased in case of their visit to the police station.

The Tordher police station registered the case against unidentified suspects and started investigation.

Meanwhile, a man was killed when a rickshaw collided with a van outside the civil hospital in Kalu Khan area on Saturday.

The victim was identified as Ibrahim Khan. He was going in the rickshaw when the incident occurred. He was seriously injured and was shifted to the hospital where he died.
