Muhammad Imran, a resident of Mohalla Rehmanpura, Kameer, had returned from his in-laws with his wife on Saturday night when they lost their daughter, Zahra, at the bus stop.

There was a rush at the bus stop and the mother lost the child in the dark.

They searched for the girl in surrounding localities but did not find a clue. They did not report the matter to the police.

Some shopkeeper handed over a lost child to the Kameer Police Station late at night.

The police made announcements in different villages and Kameer town though mosques and engaged councilors.

They also used the social media to find the child’s parents. On Sunday, Imran came to know about his daughter at the police station and received her.
