LAHORE: The ministry of railways on Monday posted new chief commercial manager in place of Muhammad Hanif Gul who has refused to work under Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, the new minister in-charge of the department, declaring him “non-professional and ill-mannered.”
“No decision has been taken yet on the leave application of Mr Gul,” an official of the ministry told Dawn.
On the directions of the minister, Agha Waseem has been told to immediately take charge as the chief commercial manager, said the official.

@Barbar Khan why do want to see Sheikh Rasheed quit from the ministry? I think a stern warning is enough; he can have his own team and get rid of anyone he doesn't like, but why disrespect a senior official in such a crass manner?

Meeting the demands of your railway minister will be the best way to keep your job. That is the only criterion in both, the old as well as the new Pakistan.

@A Voter - Considering inept and corrupt practices & performance of previous governments namely PML-N and PPP, I rather take an unprofessional and uncouth Sheikh Rashid over anyone who is still loyal to old regimes. Sheikh Rashid may be rough around the edges, but there is no iota of doubt that he is honest and will perform his duties as honestly as possible. Unprofessional he maybe but dishonest he is not.
