FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Pool Rounds of the 14th DAWN In Education Spelling Bee Competition will be held on Thursday (today) at the Iqbal Auditorium of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad.

It is the largest school event in Pakistan organised under the DAWN in Education program, the first and only Newspaper in Education program in the country till date. Approximately 1,000 of the most competitive schools from across Pakistan will be participating in this engaging competition.

More than 240 students from 35 schools will be competing in the Faisalabad Pool Rounds. The competition will be conducted in three age groups 9-11 years, 12-14 years and 15-17 years. Three students from each group will qualify to participate in the Lahore Regional Championship which will be held on Oct 20.

This competition is being organised by the DAWN Media Group and judges are provided by the Oxford University Press.
