SAHIWAL: Dr. Muhammad Nasir Afzal has taken charge of first vice chancellor of the University of Sahiwal.

Mr Afzal did MBBS from Nishter Medical College, Multan, and went to USA/Canada and was associated with University of Minnesota.

He served at Shifa Medical College, Islamabad, and Shalimar Medical College, Lahore, from 2003 to 2010.

On Monday, Mr Afzal met with faculty members and assured them that all financial constraints would be resolved at the earliest.
