ISLAMABAD: Wapda strikers Mehru Khan and Madiha were in scintillating form as they overcame Pakistan Army 54-45 to defend their National Women Basketball Championship title on Thursday.

Mehru, declared the best player of the championship, scored 24 points with Madiha adding another 10 in a well-contested final here at the Pakistan Sports Complex.
