Are you a type of a person to carry your earbuds with you wherever you go? If so, you’ve probably found them in a tangled mess in your bag or wherever you keep them. Well, it’s almost everyone’s story who has one.

Therefore, today I have come up with an easy solution — a cute French Fries packet (organiser) for your earbuds. Sounds delicious, isn’t it?

Yes, with this craft, you don’t have to fret about

tangled mess or hands-free wire anymore as this cheap and simple organiser doesn’t only remind you of your favourite snack, but keeps your mind at peace with untangled wires. Let’s make one!

Things you need

  1. 2 felt or foam sheet (one red and one yellow)

  2. Hot glue or white glue

  3. Pencil

  4. White piece of paper

  5. Scissors

  6. One-inch piece of Velcro

Directions:

  1. Draw French fries packet on a white piece of paper (flattened, we will fold it later to form the packet shape), as in picture 2. If you are not good at drawing, take out the print of the French fries packet’s template which is easily available on the internet.

  2. Put the template on red felt or foam and cut it out, pictures 3, 4. Put it aside.

  3. From the yellow foam sheet, cut thin .5-centimetre wide and three-inches long strips. You will need at least 18 of such strips, pictures 5 and 6.

  4. Keep the round side of flattened packet upwards and put a dab of glue in the middle and carefully paste the strips (fries) one by one, pictures 7 and 8.

  5. When the first layer of fries is done, cut them unevenly, to give them the look of real potato fries, picture 9.

  6. Paste second and then third layers of fries.

  7. Paste one piece of Velcro on the middle of these yellow strips and the other on the inside of packet, pictures 10 and 11.

  8. Give a finishing touch by pasting a thin yellow strip on the edge of packet, picture 12.

  9. Write the initial of your name with another thin strip or you can paste any sticker, picture 13.

  10. Wrap your earbuds wire in between the fold of the packet and you are done, picture 14.
