Habib Girls School win U-15, U-17 netball titles

KARACHI: Habib Girls School overcame stiff challenge from City School PAF Chapterr in the under-15 category final before winning in extra time by 7-6 to clinch the title. At the end of regular time, both teams were tied at 6-6.

In the under-17 category final, Habib Girls School were again given a tough time by City School PAF and the match went into extra time. HGS, however, won it 9-7 were declared the champion. The third Position was secured by St. Joseph’s School.

Earlier, the third position match was played between City School Gulshan and Karachi Grammar School which was won by former by 15-4.

Usama Qadri, Member National Assembly (MNA) and Vice President Pakistan netball Federation was the chief guest and distributed the prizes, trophies, medals and certificates.
