MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi says more people involved in corruption will be arrested.

Talking to the delegations from NA-156 and NA-157, he said: “In the past the poor were held accountable but now this practice will not continue anymore.”

“Accountability process has been started across the board now. The people who looted the country’s wealth will be arrested and the money will be recovered from them while those who have fled the country will also be held accountable,” he said. Qureshi said Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted to make Pakistan prosperous and strong and “that is why work on the 100-day agenda is under way.”

He said: “Practical steps are being taken to create the south Punjab province which will bring about prosperity in the region while the nation will be informed about it soon.”
