LAHORE: Inspector General of Police Amjad Javed Saleemi on Friday issued transfer and posting orders of 21 police officers.

The IGP transferred Multan Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Muhammad Masoom and posted him as Additional SP Mobiles, Lahore, against a vacancy. The officer will also look after the work of the post of Addl SP, Dolphin Squad. The SP investigation, Muhammad Sharif, was transferred and posted as Multan CTO.

AIG Gender Crimes Investigation Branch Punjab Shazia Sarwar was transferred and posted as Addl SP Investigation, Civil Lines, Lahore, against a vacancy, SP Investigation Kasur Dr Anoosh Masood Ch was transferred and posted as Addl SP Investigation, Model Town, Lahore and Addl SP Pothohar, Rawalpindi, Sajid Hussain Khokhar was transferred and directed to report to the Central Police Office.

Mr Saleemi also issued transfer and posting orders of 16 DSPs to different areas of the province.

CENTRES: The Lahore police have started offering various services to the citizens through seven facilitation centres in the city.

DIG Operations Shahzad Akbar said the citizens could get character certificate, police verification, registration of rental, verification of workers, driving licensing or any legal opinion from these centres.
