ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday indicted three accused for the murder of barrister Fahad Malik. The court has framed charges against Raja Arshad, Noman Khokhar and Raja Hashim, all of whom have pleaded not guilty.

ATC judge Syed Kausar Abbas Zaidi directed the prosecution to produce evidence to prove its case. The accused were nominated in an FIR lodged with the Shalimar police station by Tariq Malik, an uncle of the victim, Fahad Malik.

Fahad Malik, the nephew of former Senate chairman Mohammad Mian Soomro, was gunned down on a service road in F-10/3. Malik Tariq was also injured in the incident.
