SWABI: Body of a young man was found in a deserted area in Razaar tehsil, while a man was killed over old enmity here on Friday, said police.

Registering an FIR in Kalu Khan police station, Malik Aman of Karnal Sher Kallay stated that they were informed by the local people that body of his son Nasir Khan was lying in Badri Nullah area. They soon informed the police who soon reached there.

Mr Aman alleged that his son was killed by Nural Amin, Sanaul Haq and Ijazul Haq and then his body was thrown in the area.

Meanwhile, Wahid Ali and his father Hassan Ali registered an FIR in Tordher police station, saying that their rivals opened fire on them when they were returning home from fields.

Wahid was injured, while his father survived the attack. They alleged that Faqir Taj, Arif Khan and Mohammad Tayyab of the same village had attacked them.

Wahid was taken to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, where he succumbed to his injuries.

ROW OVER RENT: The office of National Database and Registration Authority in Chota Lahor tehsil was locked briefly by owner of the building while demanding that the government should pay him the outstanding dues of rent for two years.

The building owner said that he had repeatedly demanded of the Nadra officials to pay the dues, but they adopted delaying tactics. However, after getting an assurance from the officials that he would be paid the rent soon the owner unlocked the office.

SPEECH CONTEST: Attaur Rehman, a student of Government Higher Secondary School, Topi, got first position and trophy in Urdu speech contest in the district on Friday.

He would now take part in the provincial level speech contest.
