KARACHI: Sindh Chief Secretary (CS) Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah has asked all administrative secretaries, commissioners and deputy commissioners to ensure timely completion of the ongoing development schemes without compromising quality and transparency.

If they are facing any problem or obstacle, including of funding, the matter should be brought to his knowledge so that the issue could be resolved immediately to avoid any delay in completion of the project.

The chief secretary issued this directive here on Monday at the Sindh Secretariat while presiding over a meeting of the administrative secretaries, commissioners and deputy commissioners of all districts of Hyderabad division.

The meeting, which was called to review the progress of work on the ongoing development projects in the division, was briefed by Planning and Development Board Chairman Mohammad Waseem regarding the pace of work. He said the development schemes under execution in Hyderabad division pertained to almost all departments.
