ISLAMABAD: All seeded players, except Mohammad Abid, made it to the quarter-finals of the Federal Cup National Ranking Tennis Championships here at the Dilawar Abbas PTF Tennis Complex on Tuesday.

Second seed Abid was stunned by Abid Ali Akber 6-2, 6-3. The latter, who is settled in the United States, displayed a powerful combination of forehand and backhand drives, not letting his seasoned opponent settle throughout the match.
