The ability to read, write and spell words is one of the most important learning skills to be developed in young children. Normal methods of teaching the art of spelling to kids can get boring and might not engage them as much as a spelling competition.

Spelling Bee competitions provide a great way for kids and students to improve their spelling skills while enjoying an exciting competition that rewards them in the end. Realising the need to foster better literary skills amongst children, Fruiti-O by Shangrila came forward with the initiative to sponsor Spelling Bee 2018. Ten spelling competitions were held in Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, in which hundreds of kids from various schools participated in different age categories.
